Although this site is titled Bootlegs, it’s not exactly true.  A bootleg recording is an audio recording of a performance that was not officially released by the artist, or under other legal authority. The process of making and distributing such recordings is known as bootlegging. A great many such recordings are simply copied and traded among fans of the artist without financial exchange, but some bootleggers are able to sell these rarities for profit, sometimes by adding professional-quality sound engineering and packaging to the raw material.

NZ Beats – Bootlegs are all given to NZ Beats via the bands/musicians themselves for NZ Beats to help distribute for free. The recordings are more often than not studio recorded tracks that the bands/musicians want to share with their fans. It’s perfectly legal for you to download these bootlegs, in fact the bands/musicians want you to. So get downloading and listening. Oh and don’t forget to share these awesome tunes with your friends!
